What is Expected (Standard of Care)? To know and use the generally accepted practice as identified in the following QSP Handbooks:
Individual QSP Handbook at pages 11-15 (Chart A) and the updated insert at page 2 regarding medication self-administration. Each service has allowed providers, individual standards, documentation, competency level, and limitations of tasks.
Agency QSP Handbook at pages 22-27 (Chart A) and the updated insert at page 2 regarding medication self-administration. Each service has allowed providers, individual standards, documentation, competency level, and limitations of tasks.
Family Home Care QSP Handbook in the table at pages 4-5 (Standards for Family Home Care Providers). Each service is performed by a FHC-QSP, has a standard to meet, and lists required documentation and competency levels.
What is my Duty to Meet Client Rights: To provide confidential services as agreed between you and your client in her or his plan of care, while maintaining dignity and respect, treating property with care, without unlawful discrimination, abuse, neglect, exploitation, coercion, or unauthorized restraints, while respecting your client’s rights to timely legal notices, to complain and appeal about services. TrainND Northeast — Lake Region State College: Qualified Service Provider: Training to individual, independent contractor-QSPs to satisfy the competency standards. Local training begins with a referral from the county social services offices, and costs as little as $10. Please note the structure of the county social services offices is changing soon to a zone structure, with few points of contact.
